Preliminary Reading

The Anachronous Chronicles of Bike Man is a purportedly autobiographical account of the proceedings of one Eric Cornwell, known to some as Bike Man, who will be born in the year 1984. His story has been mysteriously transmitted by electronic means from the year 2012 to be received by myself, Horace Willoughby Pennyfeather, in the year 1890. After two years of studying the coded transmission relayed to my telegraph machine, and with the generous help of some notable scientists and logicians, I have finally been able to de-code the writings and make sense of them. This story heralded from the future is of no small import to the denizens of the 19th century, and if questions of fate are laid aside, may possibly bring about an entirely new course of history.
